Prior to founding LockeBridge in 2004, Scott Waxler was the Director of Corporate Business Development leading the M&A activity for a technology company with a $3 billion dollar market capitalization. While working for this multi-national corporation he created an imaging process for the semi-conductor sector, which was granted a patent by the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office).
Subsequently Scott directed the mergers and acquisitions activity for a large business advisory firm with 1500 advisers and operations spanning 13 countries. Mr. Waxler personally closed the largest single deal in that company’s history.
Scott has more than 20 years of experience in business development, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance. He has received many national and international awards, one of which is the M&A Advisor’s “Deal Maker of the Year” Award, which is one of the most recognized achievements in the middle-market investment banking sector.
Scott Waxler has advised more than 100 corporations regarding mergers and acquisitions, capital funding and sell-side transactions, and has published many articles related to these areas of expertise. He sits on the advisory board of numerous companies. As a founder of several start-ups and owner of numerous mature businesses, Scott fully understands the unique challenges facing business owners.
